There are things that people do in life that are just a slap in the face. Live by the gun, die by the gun, kill with the gun. That’s what Lon Horiuchi does..
Lon Horiuchi shot and killed Vicki Weaver in 1992 at Ruby Ridge and also injured her husband Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris. He shot her in the head while she held her infant son.
Here are some details behind the shooting from Wikipedia.
Heres the problem.. He was brought up on charges of manslaughter.. The incident at Ruby Ridge was a complete catastrophe and cost the government 3.1 million. Mr. Horiuchi was never brought to trial and the charges were eventually dropped.
People were upset and even Timothy McVeigh handed out free cards printed up with Horiuchi’s name and address, “in the hope that somebody in the Patriot movement would assassinate the sharpshooter”. (I by no means agree with what Timothy McVeigh did in Oklahoma city)
Here is the slap in the face part..
Now Mr. Horiuchi is endorsing HR Precision Rifles.. Unbelievable! How could a company even smear their name with the likes of something like this..We as potential customers of guns shouldn’t buy their guns.. This is by no means a smart marketing manuever.
